About Original Lapland

Original Lapland is a network of small tourism, handicraft and natural product businesses located in the Tornio River Valley in western Lapland – a unique cultural area shared by Finland and Sweden.

Founded in 2019, the association brings together over 50 local companies. The local municipalities Pello and Ylitornio support its activities – helping us bring visitors closer to the authentic life of the Tornio River Valley.
