The Torne-Muonio River is a famed salmon river that attracts the fishing folk to try their luck year after year. The riverside has all sorts of businesses around fishing offering rental gear, guided tours and more.

Our Lapland offers not only salmon and other fishing in the summertime, but also various forms of winter fishing on the river and lakes. Try these oldies but goodies: fishing with a hook and worm, ice fishing or the traditional dip net fishing!
